The Central Japan Intercultural Exchange Program was established to provide students with a quality, cross cultural experience, that promotes global citizenship, exchange, and application. It is our hope and aim that through these opportunities and experiences each student (from those who are experiencing Japan or English for the first time to those who are returnees or have a cultural connection to Japan) will strengthen their desire, knowledge, and skill as a global citizen and advocate.
The program will be based in city of Handa, which is located south of Nagoya, in the Aichi Prefecture. Handa is home to the Mizkan Vinegar Group. Other cities that we will visit as part of the program include Nagoya, Toyota, Kyoto, Nara, Miyajima, and Hiroshima.
